Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out how Scientific Technologies LLC (the UZSCINET brand, the "Operator", "we") collects, stores and processes personal data received from users of the uzsci.net website and any services and web-resources operating on this domain and its subdomains (including the Personal Account and the domain name registration service). Processing is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" (LRU-547).

1. General provisions

The Policy governs how the Operator handles the personal data it receives from the User while using the website and the services provided.

Awareness: before starting to use the site, we recommend that you read this Policy carefully.
Refusal to use: if you do not agree with the data processing terms, you should stop using the site.
Limitation of liability: the Operator is not responsible for the storage and use of data that you voluntarily transfer to third parties on external resources or via external links.

2. Data we process

Data you provide voluntarily (when submitting the request form on the site):

name;
contact phone number;

when using the calculator — the configuration and the final calculated amount attached to the request.

Account and contract data (when registering in the service, submitting electronic applications and concluding the contract):

first name, last name, patronymic, e-mail address, phone, country, region, city, postal code and address;
for individuals — passport details (series, number, issuing authority, validity) and the personal identification number (PINFL);
for legal entities — organisation name, INN, MFO, OKED, bank name and settlement account, representative's details;
domain name administrator data specified in electronic applications;
contractual and payment documents (contracts, invoices, electronic invoices), as well as the technical log of account operations.

Technical data (processed automatically):

device and browser information, IP address;
local settings stored in your browser (e.g. the selected theme).

We do not carry out advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking (visit counters, click tracking).

3. Purposes of collection and processing

Data is processed solely to keep the Operator's services working properly and securely, namely for:

processing your request and responding to your enquiry;
calculating the cost of services and providing advice;
registration, renewal and maintenance of domain names in the ".UZ" zone;
concluding and performing the contract, accepting electronic applications and payments, issuing fiscal and accounting documents;
contacting you using the details you left, including notifications about application progress, the contract, payment and the upcoming expiry of domain name registration;
ensuring information security and preventing unauthorised access;
complying with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the rules of the "UZ" zone Administrator;
analytical and statistical research based on depersonalised (anonymous) data.

Account data is stored for the duration of the contract; upon the user's request the account is deleted within 7 (seven) business days. Payment and accounting documents, as well as data whose processing is required by law, are stored for the statutory retention periods regardless of account deletion. Data transferred to the "UZ" zone Administrator and other third parties under Section 4 is stored by them according to their own rules and applicable law.

4. Conditions of processing, protection and transfer of personal data

The Operator complies with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Personal Data" and other regulations in the field of information protection.

Security: a set of organisational and technical measures is applied (including hosting data in the Operator's own Tier III data centre in Tashkent) to protect against unauthorised access, copying or disclosure.
Legal basis: processing is carried out on the basis of your consent given when submitting the form, registering an account and concluding the contract; without consent the service cannot be used.
Transfer to third parties is not carried out except in the following cases:
- transfer of domain name administrator data to the Administrator of the national ".UZ" domain zone (CCTLD.UZ) — a mandatory condition for domain registration and delegation; part of this data is published in the registry and public WHOIS services to the extent set by the "UZ" zone rules;
- payment processing and fiscalisation: to payment systems, banks and acquiring services, as well as electronic document management operators (including Didox) — to the extent necessary to accept payments and issue receipts, invoices and electronic invoices;
- engaging other third-party services required for the website and service operation — to the extent necessary for their respective functions; such services process the data transferred to them under their own rules;
- with your explicit consent;
- for a prompt response and notifications, the request and contact details may be forwarded to the responsible employee of the Operator via the Telegram messenger. By using the site and the Operator's services, the User gives their direct and explicit consent to such processing and a possible cross-border transfer of contact details to the operator of the relevant messenger;
- upon an official request of authorised state bodies in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

5. Changes to the Policy

The Operator may update and amend this Policy unilaterally (including when the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan changes).

Entry into force: the new version takes effect 3 (three) days after its publication on the site.
Expiry: from the moment the new version takes effect, the previous version is deemed invalid.
Consent to changes: continued use of the site after the Policy is updated means consent to the changes made.

6. User rights (data subject)

Within the applicable law, you have the right to:

request information about which of your data is processed and for what purposes;
demand rectification — update, change or supplement your data if it is inaccurate or outdated;
withdraw consent and demand deletion of data (the "right to be forgotten") if their storage is no longer required for the provision of services or compliance with the law; account deletion does not terminate registered domain names — they remain active until the paid registration period expires.
